Beneath the region’s signature greenery, the NSW Blues captain exchanged vows with his longtime partner, creating one of rugby league’s most memorable weddings of the year. Alix, whose brother Corey Waddell is a former Manly teammate of Jake, captivated guests in a floral-embroidered gown from Mosman’s Marry Me Bridal.
Trbojevic, sharply dressed in a classic black tuxedo, shared personalised vows that elicited both laughter and tears from the intimate gathering of family and friends. Their shared joy radiated as they walked along a gravel path lined with white blooms, mirroring the floral arrangements in Alix’s carefully crafted bouquet.
Family and festivities
Among the distinguished guests were Jake’s brothers Tom and Ben, alongside NSW Blues teammate James Tedesco, lending a star-studded air to the occasion. The event follows closely on the heels of teammate Daly Cherry-Evans’ recent nuptials to Vessa Rockliff, further underscoring the celebratory mood within the Manly Sea Eagles’ close-knit circle.

A year to remember for Jake Trbojevic
The couple, who announced their engagement in February just before Trbojevic’s season opener in Las Vegas, shared their first moments as newlyweds with a heartfelt Instagram post.
The wedding provides a brief respite for Trbojevic before he returns to pre-season training in January to prepare for the Sea Eagles’ 2025 campaign. For now, however, the focus remains on celebration, as the rugby league community gathers to toast Mr and Mrs Trbojevic.
